Lie Sang Bong plays with various eclectic elements creating a unique, coherent vision.   The Spring-Summer 2011 collection’s directional style takes on a chic modern twist of minimalism. Inspired by the movie ‘Santa Sangre,’ images of a bird symbolize the message of freedom throughout the collection.   This season, Lie Sang Bong focuses on a strong geometric and graphic silhouette which also involves illustrations and the use of trompe l’oeil and feather motif appliqué to create a sense of animation and fluidity.   Organic silk, linen and cotton - with a touch of embroidered details - explore symmetric and asymmetric shapes, creating structured yet crisp feminine silhouettes.   The colour palette is natural shades of sand, nudes and whites with splashes of vivid orange and red, interspersed with illustrative graphic prints.
